Funeral services for John E. Anderson, of 916 A northeast [Ardmore, OK], who died on June 22 at the home of his brother A. L. Anderson, 16 E street southeast, are to be held Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock at eh Bettes funeral home chapel with the Rev. A. a. Walters of Lutheran church officiating. Gettes will be in charge of arrangements and interment will be in Rose Hill cemetery. Pallbearers are to be Ralph Beaton, Claude Holden, Ben Scott, Jack Johnson, Cord Taliaferro, and W. C. Eaves.
Mr. Anderon, born in Mississippi in May 1875, had lived in Ardmore for 25 years. Up to a few years ago he was a filling station operator.
He was a member of the Lutheran church and had been affiliated with that church for many years.
he was married 49 years ago to Miss Beulah Walker in Paris, Texas. Three children were born of the union, all of whom preceded Mr. Anderson in death. Survivors include the wife, one brother, A. L.
